CDNA:Live 09 will open with a spectacular Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony. The evening will begin with a champagne reception followed by a three-course gala dinner.

We will then present the winners of the CDNA Community Nursing Awards.

The Awards are being presented to a number of District Nurses who have been nominated by their colleagues and patients as giving exceptional service to patients and/or acting as excellent role models for students and colleagues.

1. District Nurses who have given exceptional service over a number of years and are at or near to retirement.
2. District Nurses who are in the midst of their careers and are inspiring future District Nurses, colleagues and patients and are a credit to the sector.

The Awards will be presented by Ann Keen MP, Under Secretary of State for Health.

Following the awards presentation, we will then continue our celebrations with live music from The Fab Beatles. The Fab Beatles were chosen by the BBC as "The Best" Beatles Tribute Band.

The Gala Dinner and Awards Evening will take place at the Liverpool Marriott Hotel, situated in the heart of Liverpool’s City Centre. The hotel couldn't offer a better location, set within the art and cultural district overlooking vibrant Queen Square and within walking distance to Liverpool Lime Street Train Station.
